Greetings!

Union meetings will resume on September 19, 2026. I hope to see you at the union meeting! Remember this is your opportunity to express your concerns, share ideas or just be updated on what’s going on with the union.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to the Ice Cream Social at the Pavillion on August 7th. It was a great turnout! If you would like the union to visit your area, please reach out to me so that we can coordinate a time and a place for the visit.

The AFSCME 47th International convention was held in Chicago this year. International President Lee Saunders and Secretary Treasurer Elissa McBride both resigned at the convention. Patrick Moran and Nicole Pollard were elected to finish out the term as President and Secretary Treasurer for the remainder of the term (2028).

Michigan Medicine boards are posted--we are now making our way to campus.

District Stewards are needed on Central Campus! Please Join the team!
