Bargaining Chair's Monthly Report - February 2025

Bargaining Chair's Monthly Report
Cassandra Millett, Bargaining Chair
February 15, 2025
Hello Brothers and Sisters,
Guidelines for assessing late arrivals/early departures:
Employees must maintain a regular attendance schedule as is expected in university employment.
The University will not consider disciplinary incidents older than two years. Late arrivals or early departures of twelve minutes or less will be treated differently from those exceeding twelve minutes. Three occurrences of late arrivals/departures of twelve minutes or less will be counted as one incident in the disciplinary process.
Inappropriate Language:
Be mindful of your surroundings and the individuals around you. Avoid sensitive subjects; personal intimate conversations are not appropriate. The use of profanity is never acceptable. Using discriminatory or demeaning words is not appreciated by anyone. Words spoken in jest or anger that are inappropriate can have serious repercussions. If a situation becomes uncomfortable or confrontational, do not hesitate to disengage as quickly and quietly as possible. Never be afraid to step away to de-escalate the situation.
